How we vet suppliers
1. Third-party certification — BRC, BRCGS, IFS, or equivalent — is a starting requirement, not a nice-to-have.
2. Ethical audit — Sedex or equivalent, verified for the site we are trading through, not the group.
3. Sample and specification match — we cut and QC samples in-house against your specification before committing to volume.
4. Reference trade — we take up references from existing UK trade customers of the processor where possible.
5. Pre-supply site visit and audit — every supplier is visited and audited in person before supply begins.
6. Continuous review — supplier performance on quality, on-time delivery, and documentation is reviewed on a rolling basis.
