Vegetables are the core of the Farmers Foods range. We specialise in IQF onions across multiple varieties and cuts, backed by a wider vegetable programme built for UK ready-meal, foodservice, bakery, and ingredient buyers.
The onion programme
Onions are our most-shipped line. We hold specifications on the following varieties, in dice, slice, ring, and diced-and-blanched formats. Cuts and count sizes are agreed at contract and held consistently across the season.
White onion
Standard workhorse for ready meals, sauces, soups, and ingredient blends.
Red onion
Colour and flavour lift for premium ready meals, salads, and bakery toppings.
Shallots
Higher-value line for restaurant supply, sauces, and premium ready meals.
Caramelised onion

Formats and specification
Standard formats are 10 kg polybags, 25 kg polybags, and multi-bag cartons. Custom pack sizes, counts, and liners are available on contracted programmes. Origins, seasonal calendars, microbiological standards, and technical specifications are provided on request.
